From Ranch Hand to Voice Actor.
A journey from Bremen through the American West — and eventually behind the microphone.
I have done many things over the years. From working as a ranch hand in rural Arizona and teaching German at Arizona State University to spending several years as founder and CEO of IT companies in the US and Germany.
Then I reinvented myself and started a new career, to become a bilingual professional voice actor. My warm and easy-to-listen-to, versatile deep baritone is well suited to eLearning projects, corporate training, image and product videos, sales presentations and other forms of narration.
I work in both German (native) and English. With my sonorous, trustworthy and unexcited voice I explain to American Express associates what is and is not acceptable in dealing with each other, I brief Mercedes-AMG dealers on the important details and selling points of the latest AMG models and the benefits of the newest Honeywell-Otter safety shoes, or I tell the company story of businesses like Caterpillar and Harley-Davidson.
After more than 30 years of living and working out West in states like Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico, I am now headquartered in Florida, but I spend much of my time in Europe, working from my professional home studios in Germany and Mallorca, Spain. Regular coaching and continued training remain important to me.
